I started out as a homeowner in Centerville using the "big name" lawn care company. I was actually pleased with their results, and we enjoyed a weed-free yard for a year. Then I fell prey to a local conniver. He offered the same service for half the price. I signed on the dotted line. Not sure exactly what happened, but all my grass died. When I went to cancel the service, the owner said "You should have asked us to do a soil sample or something if all of your grass was dying." My thought was isn't that what I'm paying for?

I had had a contract service with a company and was not satisfied with the service. Mr. Gore came promptly the next day, looked at my situation, and I started off with a month to month service to keep my lawn fertilized and weeded. He was professional and made me feel confident that this company can help me get my lawn into the best shape possible.
