His knowledge of what needs to be done for our type of grass as well as his ability to spot problems and fix then when they are small has enabled our lawn to look its best. Roots Turf & Ornamental and employee Austin are everything we could want and need in a lawn maintenance company. Though I only require lawn fertilizing service, they offer many other services to ensure a beautiful lawn year round. Austin stays 100% on schedule and always calls leading up to the service to let me know when I'm on his schedule. The treatment used is tailored specifically to meet my lawn's need and it shows. If I have any concerns regarding stubborn weeds, I simply place a call and the company sends out a rep to assess and target my problem.

I started out as a homeowner in Centerville using the "big name" lawn care company. I was actually pleased with their results, and we enjoyed a weed-free yard for a year. Then I fell prey to a local conniver. He offered the same service for half the price. I signed on the dotted line. Not sure exactly what happened, but all my grass died. When I went to cancel the service, the owner said "You should have asked us to do a soil sample or something if all of your grass was dying." My thought was isn't that what I'm paying for?

I know that Roots is a growing company because I see their signs everywhere, but somehow they have managed to keep a sense of very personal customer service. When I call, they always address me by name and are very helpful and polite. They also seem well acquainted with my property and services.

Aside from the customer service, the actual services provided are great. We have been them for a few years now our lawn always looks great. We added lawn pest service this year and I am looking forward to similar results.
